What I wanted to do this Valentine’s was to creep on my crush who works at a cafe near our apartment building. I think he’s a sort of manager/barista. I’m not really sure what he does there (well, I pretty much see him do everything but really I don’t know). He’s cute and he smiles a lot. He’s the closest thing that I have to a ‘special someone.’
Anyway it didn’t happen. I didn’t go out this Valentine’s Day. Didn’t have the balls to go there alone especially after the incident.
The incident happened two weeks ago… I ran into him at a burger joint. When I saw him, I immediately broke into a sprint and ran home to our building. I am pretty sure he saw me. I didn’t mean to do that but I was scared that he might think that I’m stalking him. I wasn’t really. I was just about to buy my brother a burger and well I failed to his sheer annoyance. My brother was really hungry at that time.
I just hope he (Kuya Smiley as my friend and I call him) wouldn’t think that way. I feel like he’s a nice person. Though, I don’t feel a connection whatsoever. Also I don’t have any grandeur fantasies about this person. I’m not hoping for anything but this. Me drawing doodles about him and looking at him from afar enjoying the coffee that he sells. Okay. TMI.
This is me being paranoid. Hannah has heard this story a thousand times. Each time a bit different. Also yeah, when I said that I ran into him, I’m not really sure if he saw me. But I feel like he did.
